We have witnessed our fair share of awesome duels between motorcyclists on the track.
However, more recently we had the pleasure of coming across one video that shows one of the wildest races to happen more recently.
The Moto3 race at MotoGP World Championship’s French Grand Prix was abruptly stopped as the huge group of riders started to slide out of the track in a weird way.
According to Motorsport, the oil spill at Turn 6 was responsible for the surreal scenario, where, one-by-one, the bikes went down under braking in quick succession, and with several riders being hit.
The spill was caused by Adam Norrodin’s bike and which started leaking oil after the contact with another rider earlier in this race.
The race switched to red flag for the debris to be removed, the bikes to be checked.
Despite several riders visiting a medical center, all were able to ride and this race was soon back on, also being shortened to 16 laps total.Jorge Marin took the lead but pushed the bit hard in the same cursed corner and high-sided, leaving Romano Fenati first.
However, Joan Mir started to close in to the Italian with a rest of the pack behind.
We do not want to spoil the rest of this intense race, but it is certainly one of the finest you will watch! To check out the incredible Moto GP action click the video below!
